To Beard or Not To Beard
If you haven't noticed, then you definitely haven't  been paying attention.  This year, the biggest accessory for men seems to be the beard.  They are everywhere from men on the street, men on the small screen (Ducky Dynasty), to Big Screen actors (see Jared Leto and Chris Pine at this year's Golden Globes).  I never thought that this trend would hit close to home...but it has.  Yes, my husband who has only ever dabbled in facial hair "scruff", and a goatee here and there has gone for a full out beard.  It started in Movember or "No Shave, November" as our American friends call it and just kept on going.  I have to admit, I've gotten use to it, but only to a certain point.  There's a certain length where it crosses over from being stylish to just being bushy!
Earlier this month GQ exclaimed that beards were no longer cool, because The New York Times had declared it a trend after Jay Carney (the US Press Secretary, made an appearance with a beard).  That being said, Procter and Gamble seem to think that facial hair is here to stay and are now marketing a new Gillette Body Razor, for the the terrain, (ahem)...below the face.
From scruff to full facial hair commitment

What do you think?  Guys are you digging this trend?  Do you think the trend is over or just becoming main stream?  Ladies, do you like your man with a beard, or do you wish this trend would die already?  I have a feeling that with new pop culture celebrities emerging, like Incredibeard and his pretty incredible beard sculptures (yes, you heard that right, I first saw him on Anderson Cooper's Ridiculist) we may just be in for the long haul.

you know I love Matt regardless… and let me say that 98% of the time I prefer a man with a bit of facial hair, but… I kinda like the clean shaven look on Mr. Boyce :)
